Oakland County League of Women Voters chapter sponsors candidate forum Wednesday.

Election Day is six weeks away, but the candidates for City Commission in Royal Oak are out and about around town, knocking on doors and asking residents for support.

On Wednesday night, those candidates will be center stage at a forum sponsored by the Oakland County chapter of the League of Women Voters.

At 7 p.m. Wednesday, the seven candidates (Kyle DuBuc, George Gomez, Rick Karlowski, Mike Fournier, Peggy Goodwin, Bill Shaw and Scott Warheit) will answer panelists' questions in a forum in the City Commission chambers at .
