How An NYC Couple Made Southern Oakland County Their Home
The couple, originally from the Detroit area, decided to trade their tiny New York City apartment for a spacious Pleasant Ridge house.
Tired of living in a 500-square-foot apartment, New Yorkers Craig Bentley and Frank Polito knew it was time to make the switch to a house.
Both men are originally from the Detroit area, and after more than 18 years living in New York City, they felt the urge to move back home.
"We grew up here, and we knew that there are a lot of great things going on," Polito told Bought, a video series that profiles people buying homes. "We felt that it's an exciting time to come back."
After a solid day of touring homes with a realtor, Bentley and Polito found the home of their dreams in Pleasant Ridge, and bought it.
