The Royal Oak Jaycees will host a professional development workshop at 7 p.m. June 11 at Hamlin Corner, 386, N. Main in Royal Oak.
Career coach Kelly Olin will present "Tackling the New Job Market: How to Get a Job in the Technology Age."
Discussion topics will include how to
- navigate and utilize online job boards for maximum effectiveness
- leverage social media to communicate your professional brand
- and use the new tools and tricks to stand out from the crowd and land your dream job
The cost is free for Royal Oak Jaycees, $5 for other Jaycees and $10 for non-members
