Community Invited to Meet with Superintendent at State of Schools Forum

Superintendent Shawn Lewis-Lakin invites the public to share questions and concerns regarding the school district on Oct. 3.

Do you have questions about your school district?

  • How well are the students in our schools learning?
  • What is the current enrollment and what are future enrollments projected to be?
  • What are the plans for the school facilities?
  • With reduced revenues how has the district’s business model changed?
  • What is the purpose of the sinking fund proposal on the November 6 ballot and how will it affect my taxes?

“Last spring, I delivered a State of the Schools address,” said Lewis-Lakin. “Now, I would like to meet with the community for a dialogue about our schools. I look forward to answering questions, hearing people’s hopes, and listening to their concerns.”

Members of the community are invited to join Superintendent Shawn Lewis-Lakin from 7-8 p.m. on Oct. 3 for an informal forum at the district’s administrative offices.
