Troop 1627 is inviting Scouting age boys (11-17) and their parents to our Annual Troop Open House. Come and join us for the evening to learn all about the fun and exciting activities you get to participate in once joining Troop 1627. The Open House will be held on Tuesday October 4, 2011 from 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM in the Media Center of Keller Elementary School located at 1505 N. Campbell Road in Royal Oak (just south of 12 Mile Rd).
Displays will be set up throughout the room that you can peruse at your own pace, and Scouts and Scouters on-hand to answer any questions you may have regarding the display or our Troop and its program. The displays will include:
- Our Handmade Dogsled, Snowshoes, and Skis
- Camping
- Rifle and Shotgun Shooting
- High Adventure Trips to: Mammoth Cave National Park, KY; Smoky Mountains National Park, TN/NC; and Grand Teton National Park, WY.
- Outdoor Cooking
- Backpacking
- Summer Camp
- Photographs from Recent Outings
- Merit Badge Offerings
- and much, much more!
