Feature Photo: Shrine Seniors Have 'Reel' Fun at Oscar Party

Attendees were asked to wear their best outfits as Sunday's Academy Awards were broadcast live from Shrine High School.

You didn't need to be Bradley Cooper or Jennifer Lawrence to walk the red carpet in Royal Oak on Sunday night—just some fancy clothes.

To celebrate Hollywood’s glitziest night of the year, the seniors at Shrine Catholic High School held an Oscar party in the school's library. The evening included dinner, a raffle, prizes, an Oscar trivia game and a live broadcast of the show.

"It's a student-run fundraiser for Oscar night for S.A.Y Detroit, which was founded by Mitch Albom and helps homeless people in Detroit," said Molly Bonell, a senior at Shrine.
