Help a Royal Oak High Student Win a College Scholarship

Vote now for Omar Romolino's essay.

A Royal Oak High senior has entered an essay on the website WyzAnt that could win him the top prize - a $10,000 college scholarship.

Omar Romolino needs your help.

Omar, the only entrant from Royal Oak, answered the essay question is "If you could teach everyone in the world one thing, what would it be?" He has received more than 600 votes so far.

Scholarship finalists will be determined by popular vote. The 10 top ranking essays will advance to the second round, which runs through May 1, according to the website.

First place will receive a $10,000 college scholarship, second place will receive a $3,000 college scholarship, and third place will receive a $2,000 scholarship. Each scholarship will be paid directly to the scholarship recipient's college or university.

Omar is in the drama club at Royal Oak High School and is also in the choir.  He has been accepted to the College for Creative Studies and will be attending there starting in the fall.
