One New Teacher Hired So Far in Royal Oak Schools
Additional positions are working to be filled.
With school back in session in less than a month, Royal Oak Community Schools are busy working on hiring replacements.
As of right now, Carol Clippert is the first newly appointed staff member for the 2012-2013 school year. She will serve as an ASD teacher consultant.
The district has also recalled all 16 of last school year's teachers who were placed on lay off. The eight teachers who were laid off from the 2010-2011 school year are also working on being recalled.
