Based on current forecast models and radar maps, weather and road conditions will be deteriorating rapidly over the next few hours, with dangerous conditions developing before the start of the school day. All indications are that communities closest to I-696 will experience the worst of this storm, with snow accumulations between now and 3 p.m. in the 6 to 8-inch range.
