Students at Royal Oak's Addams Elementary School Walk for Peace
The Peace Walk to honor Martin Luther King Jr. is a reminder of the importance of equality.
Despite the bitter cold temperatures, children bundled up and participated in an outdoor Peace Walk around Addams Elementary School this week.
Students created and walked with banners that reinforced the importance of equality.
Students also produced great artwork and writing to honor Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., which work can be seen in throughout the hallways of the school, said Principal Jane Flarity-Gram.
