Metro Detroit Go Red for Women February Events

 

Go Red For Women kick-off rally and lighting ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 6th at Freudenberg North America Corporate Center , located at 47774 West Anchor Court in Plymouth from 11:30 am - 12:30 am. This event is designed to heighten awareness of heart disease and women and features National Go Red For Women spokesperson Annette Sciberras. Sean Lee of WWJ Newsradio 950 will serve as guest emcee. Reserve your spot at freudenberg@fnacc.com. Space is limited.

It's National Wear Red Night at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Join the American Heart Association on Friday, Feb 7th at 7:30 pm as the Detroit Pistons take on the Brooklyn Nets. Game includes giveaways, education and more. Don't forget to wear RED and bring your Pistons spirit! Tickets are only $12 each. Get yours online at http://pistonswearred.eventbrite.com. All proceeds go to the American Heart Association.

Girlfriends Go Red event on Thursday, Feb. 20th from 6 - 8 pm at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Attendees are invited to wear their red shoes and join the American Heart Association and Beaumont Hospital for an evening of education and fun. This free event kicks-off with an expert health panel followed by dance and fitness demos, screenings and prizes. Attendees will receive a passport at the beginning of the program and encouraged to stop at different stations to learn how they can get on the path to good heart-health! Detroit Go Red For Women Luncheon, this Valentine’s Day, the American Heart Association is asking people to show love for their heart by uniting with other women at the luncheon on Feb. 14th from 9 -1:30 p.m. at the MGM Grand Detroit. This event will feature a health expo and heart-healthy lunch. Rosie O’Donnell will serve as keynote speaker.  Tickets for the luncheon are $250.
