Grace Centers of Hope will host the 7th Annual ‘Walk a Mile in My Shoes’ Walk-a-Thon at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak on Saturday, June 2, 2012.  Proceeds from the event will support the Children’s Programs at Grace Centers of Hope, one of the largest homeless shelters in southeast Michigan.  Event day registration begins at 7:45 a.m.  The walk begins at 8:45 a.m. with an awards presentation and children’s activities immediately following.

Participants must register online. Cost is $5 per child (ages 3 – 9) and $10 per person for those who are 10 years of age and older.  There is no cost for children two years and under.  Grace Centers of Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and all donations greater than $25 are tax-deductible.
