Royal Oak Girls' Golfers Place First at League Tournament

Dagney Gossett and Madyson Szydlowski lead the way for the Ravens both carding a 91.

The Royal Oak High School Girl's Varsity Golf Team followed up winning the league championship by finishing the season in first place in the OAA Blue Division Tournament at Evergreen Hills in Southfield.

Head Coach John Gibson praised all the girls for contributing to the match.

“My big thing is not how the top one or two play, but how the whole team contributes to the victory,” Gibson said. “The No. 3, 4, and 5 girls are the ones that really make it happen. We have a good balance from top to bottom. All the girls shot with nine shots of each other.”
