Shrine Hosts Pink Volleyball Game

Proceeds from T-shirt and a bake sale benefit Gilda's Club Metro Detroit.

Shrine High School hosted a pink volleyball game Thursday night with JV and Varsity players wearing pink jerseys.

Pink T-shirts, designed by senior captains Molly Bonnell and Erin Kapala sold at the game for $15, along with proceeds from a bake sale and a raffle were donated to Gilda's Club Metro Detroit.

While the varsity team lost the match to Our Lady of the Lakes, they did raise $1,700 for breast cancer awareness.
