Applesauce Walnut White Chocolate Chip Cookies
Applesauce Walnut White Chocolate Chip Cookies. A great recipe to utalize all those apples your family picked this fall. .
If your family is anything like mine, you probably have apple picking on your fall to do list. Every year the my husband and I take the boys up to Romeo and pick bags and bags of apples. The boys, including my husband, are thrilled to eat apples straight from a tree. Then I get excited about all the baking possibilities!
We very often have more apples then we can eat. That's when the baking comes in. Making homemade applesauce is fairly simple. Just put a little juice or water in a sauce pan and simmer peeled and cut apples until you can easily smash.
Rather then just eat the applesauce as is, I came up with a delicious cookie recipe. Using applesauce gives cookies a great moist texture and fantastic flavor.
