Shakespeare Duets Fundraiser Friday

The annual Shakespeare in the Park fundraiser event will be held June 28 at the Royal Oak Historical Society Museum.

Water Works Theatre Company will host its annual Shakespeare in the Parkfundraiser at the Royal Oak Historical Society Museum, located at 1411 Webster Rd., on June 28.

The evening will feature Shakespeare Duets, an original work of the Bard's classic scenes, starring Water Works' Artistic Director Sara Catheryn Wolf and Water Works veteran, Brian Ogden who appeared as Henry in last year's production of Henry V. In addition to the performance of Shakespeare Duets, guests will enjoy light refreshments, a cash bar and have access to the Historical Society's exhibits and museum located in the impeccable Northwood Fire Station.

Doors to the Historical Society Museum, located at 1411 Webster Road, open at 6:30pm on June 28 with the Shakespeare Duetsperformance at 7:30pm. Tickets (will-call only) are only $25 per person and are on sale online at www.waterworkstheatre.com. Pay-at-the-door reservations can also be made by calling 248-399-3727.

Theatre lovers and supporters of Water Works Theatre Company who are unable to attend this fundraising event can still support this summer's Shakespeare in the Park by making a donation on line at www.waterworkstheatre.com or by mail to Water Works Theatre Company 320 W. 7th Street, Suite 200 Royal Oak, MI 48067.
