Woodward Memories Exhibit Opens
Exhibit will display views of Woodward Avenue and recount the history of Woodward Avenue from the 1900s to its present day image.
The Royal Oak Historical Society Museum opens it's new exhibit "Woodward Memories Then & Now," on Aug. 4 from 2 to 8 p.m. The exhibit will display views of Woodward Avenue and recount the history of Woodward Avenue from the 1900s to its present day image.
The exhibit will run the entire month of August and is sponsored by Larry Burr of Special open hours the month of August are Monday - Friday, 2 - 8 p.m. and Saturday, 1 - 4 p.m. After August, the Museum will revert to standard hours of operation: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, from 1 - 4 p.m.
On Aug. 15 from noon to 8 p.m. the museum will be hosting a Classic Car
Show. There will be hot dogs, soft drinks, water and chips for sale at $1 for each item.
