Orson Starr House welcomes quilts

Today we were blessed with sunshine, it wasn't real warm, but the sun was nice. The Orson Starr house was open, we welcomed the Cameo Quilt Guild, a few members dropped by with their beautiful quilts, it certainly made the house feel warm.
A beautiful quilt was presented to a mother, her son is a Major in the US Army, he is stationed in Texas right now, he will receive the quilt very soon. His mother is very proud of him, she should be for he has accomplished a lot during his time served.  Quilts, like pets make the house a home. A quilt is warm, comforting and so much love not to mention work goes into creating one.
I'm a firm believer in the "Pay it forward" philosophy, so I made the quilt for the Army man to receive. It feels good to give back.
