In the Spirit of Thanks, Patch Will Make it Easy for You to Give

Like all of you readers out there, Royal Oak Patch has many reasons to be thankful this season.

We can never say "thank you" enough, but we’re going to try anyway.

Thank you to those who share their photographs or videos with us. We encourage everyone to do that. The more the merrier.

Thank you to those who comment on stories or participate in polls. This is your Patch, and we like getting feedback.

Thank you, Patch bloggers, for sharing your interesting insights on everything from politics to exercising.

Thank you, Patch freelancers. It takes a community of writers and photographers to cover all that goes on in Royal Oak—the action never stops around here. We appreciate all you do!

And thank you to the people who live and work in Royal Oak and who help make this city one of the most exciting and engaging places to cover.

So to show our appreciation, we're going to help make the season of giving a little easier for you this season.

For the next 30 days – every day until Christmas Eve – Royal Oak Patch will bring you ways to help spread holiday cheer past your front porch to people and organizations across the area.

From toy drives to giving trees, we'll tell you about the causes that need the most help this season.

We hope you'll take part in this 30 Days of Giving and take the spirit beyond the holidays, because there is need all year long.
