It's a busy week in Royal Oak, as usual. What do you have planned?

Here are five things you should know as you go about your week:

  1. City Commission meets Monday: The City Commission meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. Click here for the agenda.
  2. Royal Oak Schools have late start day on Wednesday: Public elementary schools late start time is 9:25 a.m.; Royal Oak Middle School 9 a.m.; Royal Oak High School 8:55 a.m.
  3. Street Eats on Wednesday: It's a food truck rally at the Royal Oak Farmers Market . Bring the whole family for a gathering of Metro Detroit's finest food trucks and a variety of affordable food from 5-9 p.m.
  4. The school board meets Thursday: Royal Oak Schools Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. inside at 1123 Lexington Blvd. Click here for the agenda.
  5. Second Annual Jordan & Ashley Siegel Pub Crawl on Saturday: The public is invited to hit the streets with the Siegel family and visit seven Royal Oak restaurants/bars—Rock on 3rd, Andiamo, O'Tooles, Woody's, Oak City Grille, Lily's Seafood and Red Fox English Pub—for drinks, music, raffles and more.
