Oktoberfest, Pet Blessing, 'Art at the Museum' and More this Weekend

1. Have a drink at Bastone Brewery for Oktobfest and check out all the new renovations to the popular brew pub.
2. Laugh with Jim David at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle this weekend. Show time is 8 p.m. and 10:30 Friday; 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $18.
3. Meet local artists and chefs and enjoy wine, hors d' oeuvres and live music at Art At The Museum at the Royal Oak Historical Museum at 6 p.m. Friday. Donation: $10.
4. Get your pet blessed. Prayers and paws come together at St. Mary Catholic Church. Blessings begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday on the front lawn of the parish office, 730 S. Lafayette Ave. All pets are welcome.
5. March over to Royal Oak High School for a pancake breakfast (featuring Master Chef David Jensen) in the school's courtyard this Saturday. The menu includes The Big Bird, four pancakes and two sausage patties for $5.00; The Raven in Training, two pancakes and one sausage for $3.00; coffee, bottled water, milk, orange juice for $1.
