Junior Theater Program at the Royal Oak Public Library

  • Kids ages 4 to 8 will explore the world of theater while learning to speak and move onstage.

Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan - THE WALK
  • 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29
  • Detroit Zoo
  • The WALK will provide refreshments, entertainment, free parking and admission into the zoo. Each walker who raises $100 will be eligible to receive an official WALK t-shirt and prizes.
  • Registration Fee: $30 - 6 and older / $0 - 5 and under (fee included in fundraising goal)
Boy Scout Rummage Sale
  • 8 a.m. Saturday, June 29
  • 2907 Rochester
  • Boy Scout Troop 1627 is hosting its annual Rummage Sale fundraiser the weekend of June 29-30.  The scouts have been collecting donations of salable items for weeks and have a warehouse and garage full of stuff.
Independent Film Series at the Royal Oak Public Library

  • The Royal Oak Public Library continues its Independent Film Series with the showing ofTeddy Bear. Join Dennis, a 38-year-old Danish bodybuilder who lives with his mother, on his journey to find true love in Thailand. 92 minutes in Danish with English subtitles. The film is appropriate for the over-18 crowd.
