Ordered 1st week of November. Was supposed to be a Christmas gift. Very disappointed we did not get the Jacket until some time in Feb. Over 16 weeks later. Do Not Use them, They take WAY to long. Order a year in advance if you do :-(

Strictly Varsity is a small varsity jacket and letter sweater store located next to Royal Oak Middle School, formerly Dondero High School. Despite the fact that it's no longer adjacent to a high school, Strictly Varsity is still a go-to varsity jacket shop for student athletes in the city of Royal Oak and beyond. The store sells blank jackets and sweaters and does stitching and embroidery. Strictly Varsity has been open on Washington Street since 1990; the location operated as a varsity jacket shop under a different name since 1950.

Please be warned: go elsewhere. A varsity jacket is a very emotional purchase, and you want it done right and expediently. Unfortunately, this shop can't succeed on either measure. We placed our order mid-November, with expected Christmas delivery. This week, in almost mid-March, we got our deposit back. Four months of excuses. Never even had a jacket delivered to try on. Months of "it's on the truck", "it should be here next wk", "the mfgr is messing up orders". We even tried re-ordering. Then the new order was confused w someone else's order. Jim seems pleasant enough, but never took responsibility for the delay, and is sorely in need of some organization. Now we have to work to retrieve the varsity letter and numbers. We want to support local, independent shops, but absolutely cannot recommend Strictly Varsity.
