We are so sorry about what AOL is doing. Patch is the best news around. We canceled the TribuneRead More because it doesn't cover local news like you do. Thank you for all you have done to keep us updated. Good luck. AOL bring Judy back.

During the baby boom, no child was ever alone anywhere. Royal Oak was full of kids of all ages, soRead More no one played alone. Every house had a mother inside and retired people sat on their porches and watched the kids play. Now there is no one home during the day in those same neighborhoods. It's not safe to let children walk to school alone. When they go to a park with friends and one wants to leave, all must leave together. It's really a sad commentary on our changed values. I don't blame parents for being extra careful. Some of the most horrible crimes happen in minutes. There are no do overs.

This will be great for all you fatties. Eat up oink oink piggies! This is sure the type of businessRead More that Royal Oak needs. Nothing like encouraging the disgusting fatties to gain more weight.

Santa is fake. Have your kids sit on Jesus lap instead.
Jack Manning December 13, 2013 at 11:51 am
I trust one of these two Santas is black. If not, it will be deemed a form of racial profiling inRead More reflecting that only white Santas exist. Royal Oak is so concerned about it race relations that this could cause concern of blacks living in Royal Oak and surrounding communities.

Way to let down kids Timmy, plus you need to be in Heaven(dead) to do what you suggest.

Gluten makes stuff taste good. Gluten is good.

I am in the 1% that eats gluten free because it is a medical necessity. When I first went glutenRead More free I ate the processed expensive gluten free foods, this definitely caused weight gain. I then switched to eating unprocessed foods such as fruit, veggies, rice, and meat; this led to quick weight loss. Processed gluten free foods are high in sugar to make up for the lack of gluten.
