Did you march for Royal Oak High School, Dondero High School, Kimball High School or even the first Royal Oak High School? If so, join this year's Royal Oak High School Marching Band in their homecoming performance on Oct. 5. Those planning to participate must send an email to jensend@royaloakschools.com as soon as possible. In the subject line include: “Alumni Request followed by your name and instrument." (Example: Alumni Request from Joe Cool—Trumpet) Include any requests in the body of the email, along with your contact information and year of graduation. Former players and coaches gather for fun exhibition to end the year.
The Royal Oak High School girls basketball program closed out 2011 celebrating its past. The Ravens hosted their first alumni game on Dec. 29, bringing together graduates from Royal Oak High School and the former Dondero and Kimball high schools as well as former and current coaches. The Navy team, featuring Kimball and Dondero alumni along with the coaches, won 56-32 over the Grey team, made up of alumni from Royal Oak High. Trisha Fantucci, an assistant coach with the Ravens varsity team and Kimball graduate from the class of 1999, was the game’s leading scorer with 21 points.
