Burger King Offers 55 Cent Burgers for Whopper's 55th Anniversary

In honor of the Whopper's 55th anniversary, you can buy one of Burger King's iconic burgers and get your second one for 55 cents!

In honor of the 55th Anniversary of the iconic Whopper, Burger King is offering the mouthwatering deal From Dec. 6-9. Enjoy an Original Whopper for just 55 cents, when you purchase any Whopper, including the new Wisconsin White Cheddar Whopper or the spicy Angry Whopper, available for a limited-time-only. Royal Oak has a lot of great businesses on Woodward Avenue, but is there anything missing? A certain type of establishment or a new retail store? This building at 25538 Woodward Ave. is in the site of a former Burger King. The 2,500-square-foot property is listed as available on showcase.com. The one-story building built in 1972 was a popluar hangout for teens in the 1970s. Royal Oak history buffs may remember this property as the former site of the Totem Pole, which opened in 1954 and featured a 16-foot totem pole hand carved by Ojibway Chief White Wolf of St. Ignace. Free Fries Friday at Burger King Restaurants

The Burger King fast food chain is shoveling free French fries to its hungry customers with no purchase necessary.

Free French Fries? I'm totally there. Burger King's new finger food arrived today and the fast food restaurant is giving out free value size samples. The time is ticking, according to its Facebook page. You have until the end of Friday to taste Burger King's new and improved French Fries. Do you think there will be much difference? Now, deep-fried French fries dipped in ranch or ketchup are not the healthiest of food options. But, hey, we're talking about one of America's pillar food items.
