Family Engineering Night: The Next Gen & Careers of the Future
Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southeast in Royal Oak will host 10-14 year-olds and parents in engineering exploration.
Family Engineering Night is part of a county-wide initiative to help parents get their children interested in emerging technologies via an exciting evening of hands-on activities at Oakland Schools Technical Campuses. Upper-elementary and middle school students will explore STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) with mom or dad in a fun introductory evening complete with snacks and door prizes. “Students who think about an engineering problem and then have the chance to do hands-on work on creating a solution are far more likely to understand what engineering is all about.
