Michigan's housing market will be in the spotlight tonight as real estate agents from a local firm try to find a pair of teachers their dream home on HGTV's House Hunters. The show, which airs daily at 10 p.m. on the cable network, gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the buying process and focuses on the emotional experience of finding and purchasing a home. Tonight's episode features Meredith Myers Kulka of Birmingham-based Cranbrook Associates as she tries to find the "perfect" home for teachers Rick and Colleen, according to the show's website. HGTV's popular series House Hunters comes to Metro Detroit to help a man move out of his parent's home and find a house that will accommodate his cycling obsession. Royal Oak is much closer to freeways than Bloomfield Hills, so the commute time should be shorter. The other buyer would be going to and from Rochester when the heavy traffic is going the other way. I just like Royal Oak better, but it's my home town. more ›
