Local Realtor, Couple Featured on HGTV's 'House Hunters' Tonight

Meredith Myers Kulka of Cranbrook Associates will try to find first-time buyers their dream home in the Bloomfield Hills, West Bloomfield area in 10 p.m. episode.

Michigan's housing market will be in the spotlight tonight as real estate agents from a local firm try to find a pair of teachers their dream home on HGTV's House Hunters. The show, which airs daily at 10 p.m. on the cable network, gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the buying process and focuses on the emotional experience of finding and purchasing a home. Tonight's episode features Meredith Myers Kulka of Birmingham-based Cranbrook Associates as she tries to find the "perfect" home for teachers Rick and Colleen, according to the show's website. The couple rents in Royal Oak, and wanted to be in the ideal home for the rest of their lives before they married late last year. Their search took roughly eight months before they found a …

Royal Oak is much closer to freeways than Bloomfield Hills, so the commute time should be shorter. The other buyer would be going to and from Rochester when the heavy traffic is going the other way. I just like Royal Oak better, but it's my home town.   more ›

HGTV: St. Clair Shores Cyclist Shops for Houses in Royal Oak, Grosse Pointe

HGTV re-airs episode where Kevin searches for a home in Grosse Pointe, Royal Oak and Beverly Hills that he can share with his bicycles.

HGTV's popular series House Hunters comes to Metro Detroit to help a man move out of his parent's home and find a house that will accommodate his cycling obsession. House Hunters "takes viewers behind the scenes as individuals, couples and families learn what to look for and decide whether or not a home is meant for them," according to the show's website.

Bloomfield Designer and HGTV Guest Star Promises to Wow with Antiques

Corey Damen Jenkins is preparing an Antiques Centre of Troy designer vignette with music in mind.

Judy Frankel, owner, and Cindy Schwartz, store manager, have been organizing specially designed spaces at their Troy location monthly for the past two years.
