During the world premiere of Mitch Albom's 'Have A Little Faith' in Royal Oak, the actors reflect on the movie and what the city means to them.
Celebrities attending the premiere of author Mitch Albom's Have a Little Faith on Wednesday night in Royal Oak had great things to say about Detroit. After moviegoers watched the Hallmark Hall of Fame production, based on Albom's best-selling 2009 book of the same name, they were treated to a bonus panel discussion that included many of the actors and actresses who appeared in the movie. The live discussion took place in one theater at the Emagine complex and was broadcast into the other nine. Audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions of actors Laurence Fishburne, Bradley Whitford, Martin Landau, Deanna Dunagan, Anika Noni Rose, Melinda McGraw and others. The movie was shot in and around Detroit, and many members of the …

Metro Detroit-based best-selling author keeps it local, bringing in Laurence Fishburne, Martin Landau, Bradley Whitford and other stars to the Emagine theater tonight.

In the true story, Academy Award-winner Martin Landau plays Albert Lewis, an 82-year-old rabbi who asks Albom to deliver his eulogy. Feeling unworthy, Albom (played by Bradley Whitford of The West Wing fame) insists on understanding the man better, which throws him back into a world of faith he’d left years ago. …

Stars of movie to walk the red carpet at Royal Oak Emagine and talk about film after screening.
With the premiere of the movie Have a Little Faith, based on Mitch Albom's best-selling book, coming Wednesday, we asked for your thoughts on faith – and you told us, from deeply religious-based comments to suggestions on how to demonstrate faith. Here's a sample from the comments: "Faith sustains in the face of loss and tragedy and strengthens in times of fear and uncertainty. It inflates balloons with joy in celebrations of love and friendship and family and discovery. Faith flourishes when shared but becomes strongest by far when exercised together with those who seek to do His will for those whom He loves most." - Mary Benedetto "Faith-based community services are the best way to match donated time, talent, and treasures with those …

Do you have a little faith? If so, you might want to enter our contest to win two tickets to the premiere of Have A Little Faith, based on Mitch Albom's best-selling nonfiction book. The movie, which was filmed in Detroit, is described as being about a life's purpose; about losing belief and finding it again; about the divine spark inside everyone.
