A brand new bakery opened in Royal Oak, offering residents yet another option to satisfy their sweet tooth right here in town. The shop, known as Love & Buttercream opened Tuesday at 3102 Crooks Rd. Brooke Wilson, a Royal Oak resident who operates Love & Buttercream, grew up baking scrumptious treats as a hobby. After she attended pastry school, she decided to create her own business that specializes in cookies, cupcakes, cakes and everything sweet. She said she likes to get creative and offer her customers something unique. The store hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
