Dave Coulier Hangs Out in Royal Oak this Weekend

The Michigan native headlines at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle tonight, Friday and Saturday.

A man's home is his castle, right? That is certainly true for comedian, actor, master impressionist and Michigan native, Dave Coulier, who is coming home to  headline at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle. He will hit the stage at 8:00 p.m. tonight followed by two shows on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. bringing his “full house” of comedy impressions and stand-up. The clean comedian and former "Full House" star brings his full entourage of impressions and voice characterizations to life for over an hour in each show. Known to the world as Joey Gladstone on the ABC show that ran from 1987 to 1995, Coulier’s early comedic influences include George Carlin, Steve Martin and Robin Williams. Comedian Dave Coulier Returns to Royal Oak

The 'Full House' star's got his start at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle.

Native son Dave Coulier achieved stardom on the long-running ABC hit series "Full House," but he got his start right here in Royal Oak at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle on open mic night. In the past 30 years Coulier has hosted or appeared on countless TV programs, including ABC's "America's Funniest People," and "The World's Funniest Videos," VH1's "The Surreal Life," Fox's "Skating With Celebrities" and WE's "I Can't Believe I Wore That." Coulier's clean stand-up act has earned him regular appearances on "The Tonight Show," and HBO's "Detroit Comedy Jam" and "Comic Relief at Radio City Music Hall." 'King of Queens' Star Gary Valentine Headlines at Comedy Castle

Learn more about this frequent 'Chelsea Lately' guest and movie actor as he brings his standup show to Royal Oak.

Gary Valentine, who became a series regular in The King of Queens in 2001 as cousin Danny, headlines at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle tonight through Saturday. Valentine got his start in the world of standup comedy, travelling the country for 13 years refining his comedic routine by performing at comedy clubs and festivals. The New York native ended up settling in Los Angeles, where he's appeared on numerous late night talk shows. Valentine’s television credits also include starring in his own half-hour comedy special on Comedy Central Presents and co-hosting FX's The X Show. He’s also appeared in several movies, including Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Zookeeper and Stuck on You. Valentine is also a frequent panel guest on the E! hit show Chelsea …
