During the arrest process a second person interfered with the arrest and assaulted one of the officers. During the struggle the officer was injured. The infant was rushed to William Beaumont Hospital for treatment. At the hospital the child was pronounced dead. What if the assailant of the responding officer had a weapon? Thankfully there were two officers on the scene which should be the case in any domestic dispute, or in the case of an outstanding warrant maybe even more. I am surprised a tasor was not used in this incident, it would have been justified. more ›
