5 Places Open on Christmas Day in Royal Oak
Malls, government offices and most businesses are closed Tuesday, but there are still a few places that will be open around town.
If you end up forgetting a key ingredient for Christmas dinner (we hear butter is a hot item on Christmas day) or are looking to get out of the house, here are five places that are open on Christmas Day. 1. CVS Most CVS stores are open Christmas Day, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to fill a prescription. CVS is the spot to pick up a holiday card, pet food or other must-have item when just about everything else is closed. 2. Walgreens The Walgreens at 1815 Rochester Rd. will be open from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.; the pharmacy is closed. The store's number one seller on Christmas? Butter. 3. Harumph! to the first comment. Good information IF given earlier in the week. As it was I slept most of the day away assuming that only a the Peking House which has recently become a little too pricey to just drop in by myself would be open in the tradition of most Chinese restaurants.
