Royal Oak High School Choir Enters 'Glee' Contest
A Capella Choir students create fun music video. Now they need votes to win the prize money to refurbish the school auditorium.
The Royal Oak High School A Cappella Choir needs help to refurbish the high school auditorium and you’ll be delighted — even Glee-ful — that it is not asking for money or carpenters. What the student singers need are votes. “Our choir risers are really gross and the seats in the auditorium are in desperate need of repair,” said senior Alexandra Dulin, who along with choir officers Anna Marck, Elena Yarmy, Katie Faddol and Choir Director Debbie Buffa, decided to enter the Glee Give a Note contest to win funds to replace broken risers and 54-year-old seats. The Glee Give A Note contest is the invention of Ryan Murphy, the creator of the hit television show Glee, the National Association for Music Education, and the Give a Note Foundation. …
