When it comes to college tuition, a little financial aid never hurts – especially when it comes in the form of scholarships. Through Feb. 1, Lawrence Technological University in Southfield is hosting an essay contest to award up to 100 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 a year for four years. The contest is open to Michigan high school seniors (that means you Royal Oak students!), but the award must be used at Lawrence Tech. Here's how it works: Up to 100 students who enter the essay contest will win a four-year scholarship to Lawrence Tech.
