ReplyWhen will the retirement benefits of past employees (City Managers, Rec directors, etc.,) be reduced? Most of them got other jobs and are double dipping on the back of taxpayers. Stop asking me for more money. GM can change retirees contracts, and teachers are getting the shaft. It makes me wanna holla!

ReplyLet's see how much money we could get by reducing the retirement packages of former city employees. Those people get too much money for their retirement, while we have to eliminate Fire fighters and Police officers. Don't say it can't be done. It's not carved in stone. And, many city retirees go on to other jobs that pay big bucks. Retired, I think not.

ReplyTime for Edison (DTE Energy) to bury the lines. The insanity of 'fix it, it breaks, fix it, it breaks..." has to be corrected. I bet the linemen don't want to give up the overtime, but I'm sick of throwing away food.
