After receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and minor in Spanish from Michigan State University, I moved back to the city of Detroit to put some of my newly acquired journalism skills to work.

That has led me to write for Patch. In addition to being a freelance journalist, I am preparing to pursue my Master's in Investigative Reporting beginning in 2012. I guess you can say that I'm always trying to reach the next level :).

In addition to Patch, I enjoy blogging in my free time and utilizing my social media pages to the fullest (Twitter, Facebook, and the new Google+).
