I am the Associate Regional Editor for 10 Patch websites in Oakland County: Ferndale, Berkley-Huntington Woods, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Clawson, Rochester-Rochester Hills, Oakland Township, Troy, West Bloomfield and Bloomfield-Bloomfield Hills.
I am a veteran editor, having worked at The Detroit News (twice) for a total of 17 years before joining Patch. I also was the managing editor for iCan.com, a startup website for people with disabilities, and the U.S. PR director for PRISM, working with clients such as Ford Motor Co., DuPont Automotive, Shell and Ferrari.
I grew up in the Rosedale Park neighborhood in northwest Detroit and have lived in Royal Oak for 21 years with my husband and two boys, where we enjoy great neighbors, a lively downtown and top-notch schools.

Bad idea Beth to put that hunting shack photo up......"Bad Karma"....you should of known better......animal activists do not appreciate stories like this ....."SHAME ON THE PATCH"....hope the next pic shown is helping animals ........not killing them!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....:-(....P.S.we have lived in mi. for 36 years and every deer hunting season is toxic to animal lovers.......so keep this in mind for your next blog!!!!!!!!!!!.....lyn and her fake husband the doctor
