Battle of the Brains Returns to Royal Oak

This event will be the single largest team style trivia event in the Midwest. $5,000 in cash prizes will be awarded.

Over 100 teams will converge to participate in the second annual Battle of the Brains on Oct. 26 at the at the Royal Oak Music Theatre.  Last year’s event had teams from five different states and two countries participate.

Battle of the Brains is presented by the internet’s largest trivia website, Sporcle. This event will be the single largest team style trivia event in the Midwest. $5,000 in cash prizes will be awarded, including a top prize of $4,000.

The event will include a wide array of general knowledge questions in a format that is fun, engaging and involves a strategic team effort. To take the event to the next level, there will be live performance questions featuring locals musical acts and acting groups, local celebrity readers, video rounds and more. The event has garnered some national attention and teams from all across the nation are expected to join in.

Tickets are on sale now at sporcle.com or at the Royal Oak Music Theatre Box Office. Tickets are $125 per team of five. The public is invited to participate in the event and is encouraged to get their tickets as soon as possible as space is limited.

Sporcle is the internet’s largest trivia website, with over 300,000 games.  They also feature several mobile apps, some of which have been featured by Apple.
