Traffic Lights Fall; Traffic Slowed in Royal Oak

The traffic lights at the intersection of Rochester Road and 12 Mile Road have come crashing to the ground.

Traffic is slowed down in the area as drivers seek alternate routes.

Royal Oak Police are on the scene investigating the cause of the incident, which also took out the light pole at the northeast corner of the intersection in front of the CVS pharmacy.

Royal Oak Department of Public Service crews are also on the scene.

Drivers should avoid the area.
