9 a.m.: More than 400 DTE Energy customers in Royal Oak are still without power mid-day Tuesday after a quick, powerful storm Saturday knocked down trees and power lines.

The utility hopes to have almost all power restored by the end of Tuesday, DTE spokesman Alejandro Bodipo-Memba said.

The bulk of the remaining outages are in the north part of the city, south of Normandy on both sides of Coolidge Highway.

"The biggest issues are uprooted trees and downed poles that have knocked down lines," Bodipo-Memba said. "We do know that crews are out there working on it."
